Karnafuli Paper Mills resumes production after 2 months

Production of Karnaphuli Paper Mills Ltd, a government-owned paper pulp and paper manufacturer in Chandraghona union of Rangamati, has resumed after two-month closure.

Managing director of the mill Md Abdul Hakim said paper production at the factory was halted from July 20 due to a shortage of raw materials. The mill resumed production on Wednesday night.
