Youth's hanging body found in Cox's Bazar

Police recovered the hanging body of a youth from a hill at Teknaf upazila in Cox's Bazar district on Thursday morning. 

The body was recovered at around 11:00am from Keruntali area under Sadar union in the upazila.

The deceased was identified as Md Rafiq, 30, son of Nurul Islam, a resident of the area. He returned to hom from jail 10 days ago. 

Police said that there were several drug cases against Rafiq. He got out from the district jail after getting bail in a case on September, 10. 

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to  Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Gias Uddin, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station. 

The incident might have happened due to family dispute, the OC added.
