Dear Sir
Bangladesh is making significant strides in adopting digital technologies, reshaping sectors such as finance, education, healthcare, and trade. The growth of mobile banking and digital financial services like bKash and Nagad has enhanced financial accessibility, enabling many people, especially in rural areas, to participate actively in the economy. This development has empowered small businesses and improved the efficiency of financial transactions.
Additionally, the rise of e-commerce platforms has transformed business operations. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can now reach wider audiences without physical stores, reducing operational costs and creating new employment opportunities for youth, thereby contributing to GDP growth.
However, rapid digital transformation also presents challenges. Many traditional businesses struggle to adapt, and a significant digital divide exists between urban and rural areas, which may exacerbate inequality if unaddressed. The government must focus on increasing digital literacy and improving internet access in underprivileged areas.
