Two Trees

24 years ago, two plants
with greenish vigour and fragrance of blooming flowers
met and began their life of togetherness,
being a little bit puzzled with the thoughts of unknown days
as well as curious with dreamy eyes
to enjoy the novelty of new phase.

Sometimes through sharing the thrill of gusty wind,
sometimes through struggling together with stormy reality,
those two plants have passed 24 years together,
they are no more plants, but big trees fully grown up,
with matured mind, branches and fruits,
hard trunk and deep roots.
But still they are puzzled about the days to come
which depend on their deeds and the mystery of nature.

They are still confused
whether they could know
the purpose of life or know
how to make life meaningful.

They appeal to all grasses, plants and trees for wishes
so that they can achieve the ultimate fruition carrying meaningfulness.
