Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a death convict , who escaped from Kashimpur High Security Central Jail on August 6, from Jamgora area under Ashulia Police Station on Friday night.
The arrested man is Amir Hossain, 30, son of Tazul Islam, hailed from Chandpur.
Mejor Jalis Ahmed, Nabinagar Company Commander of RAB-4, confirmed the matter through a press release around 1:00pm on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team from RAB-4 and RAB-10, conducted a raid in the area and arrested him.
The convict was later handed over to the concern police station, it added.
