303 traffic cases filed, Tk 12 lakh realised in fine in a day

Traffice police conduct drives against traffice rules violations.


A total of 303 traffic related cases were filed by the traffic police while Tk 12.14 lakh were imposed as fines on Friday.

Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media and publication) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), shared the informed on Saturday.

Besides, 32 vehicles were seized, and 15 others were dragged during  a day-long operation against traffic rule violations.
He said to ease the traffic jam in the city to a tolerable level, the DMP will continue drivers in the metropolitan area.
