Adviser Nahid  visits Martyred Shraban’s grave

FENI, Sept 21: Information and Broadcasting Adviser to the Interim Government of Bangladesh Md Nahid Islam visited the grave of Martyred Ishtiaq Ahmed Shraban in the district on Saturday and offered a Munajat there.

He said, July Shahid Smrity Foundation with a government fund of Tk 100 crore has been formed. 

Nahid said, "We are handing over financial assistance to the martyred and inured people. A step is also being taken for long-term assistance to the  families of the people who were killed and injured during the Student-Mass Movement." 

The grave of martyred Ishtaiq Hossain Shraban is located at Uttar Anandapur in Fulgazi Upazila of Feni. 

Deputy Commissioner Shahina Akter, Police Superintendent Md Habibur Rahman and Shraban's father Nesar Ahmed were present during the visit.

Earlier, Nahid visited flood-affected areas, houses and roads in Andharmanik area at Radhanagar Union in Chhagalnaiya Union and Jagatpur area at Darbarpur Union of Fulgazi Upazila.
