Agricultural fair inaugurated in Netrakona

A 6-day long agricultural fair was inaugurated on Sunday in Netrakona's Purbadhala upazila.

The Upazila Agricultural Extension Department organized the fair on the upazila parishad premises under the project to increase the intensity of crops in Greater Mymensingh.
Purbadhala Upazila Nirbahi Officer Khabirul Ahsan was present as the chef guest at the programme presided over by Agriculture Officer Alamgir Kabir conducted by Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Rafiqul Islam.

The Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. MA Awal, former Agriculture Extension Officer Shahnaz Afroz Moni, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Syed Shakur Ahmed, Assistant Agriculture Extension Officer Ruhul Amin were the special guests at the programme.

A total of 24 stalls have been placed in the fair where various modern technologies have been presented. The fair will be open for visitors daily from 9 am to 6 pm till September 27.
