Two found dead in Madaripur, Cox’s Bazar

Two men were found dead in separate incidents in two districts - Madaripur and Cox's Bazar, recently. 

MADARIPUR: Police recovered the decomposed body of a man from a canal in Kalkini Upazila of the district recently.
The identity of the deceased, aged about 40, could not be known immediately.

Police sources said that locals spotted the decomposed body floating in a canal beside the Dhaka-Barisal highway in Puali-Madaripur area under Kalkini Municipality and informed the matter to police.

Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Madaripur Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Police assumed that the man might have been murdered two to three days back.

Sub-Inspector of Kalkini Police Station (PS) Mahmud Hossain confirmed the incident, adding that the law enforcers are investigating the matter and trying to identify the deceased.

TEKNAF, COX'S BAZAR: Police recovered the hanging body of a youth from a hill in Teknaf Upazila of the district recently.
 
The body was recovered from Keruntali area under Teknaf Sadar Union in the upazila.

The deceased was identified as Md Rafiq, 30, son of Nurul Islam, a resident of the area. He returned to home from jail 10 days back. 

Police sources said that there were several drugs cases against Rafiq. He came out of the district jail after getting bail in a case on September 10. Later on, his hanging body was found in a hill. 

On information, police recovered the body from the scene and sent it to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
