Healthcare Pharma to get insurance services from MetLife

Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd (HPL), a leading pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh penned a contract with MetLife to provide insurance facilities to their employees in Bangladesh.

As part of this contract, employees of HPL will receive insurance coverage for loss of life and medical expenses. The company has selected MetLife as their employee insurance provider due to the insurer's customized solutions, faster payment of insurance claims and financial strength.

The agreement signing ceremony held recently, attended by Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd's DMD and CEO Md. Halimuzzaman and from MetLife, Additional Managing Director and Chief Distribution Officer, Md. Jafar Sadeque Chowdhury, Head of Employee Benefits, Mohammad Kamruzzaman along with other senior officials from both companies, says a press release. 

Healthcare Pharmaceuticals has been serving in the healthcare sector after establishing its pharmaceutical plant in 1996. Now Healthcare Pharmaceuticals is the fastest growing organization in the pharmaceutical industry of Bangladesh.

In Bangladesh, MetLife provides insurance protection to over 300,000 employees and their dependents of more than 900 organizations. In the year 2023, MetLife policy holders received about BDT 2,981 crore in claims.
