Joint forces arrested 92 people and recovered 4,096 arms, which were looted from police stations, police lines, police outposts and other places during the recent mass uprising, in nationwide drives till September 25.
The information was shared by the police headquarters on Wednesday afternoon.
Of the arms – 11 are revolvers, 62 pistols, 13 shotguns, 23 shooter guns, 20 LG, 31 guns, one AK-47, two gas guns, one Chinese rifle, four air guns, five SMGs, five SBBL, two tear gas launcher and two 3-quarters.
Besides, a total of 2,86,082 rounds of bullets, 22,139 tear gas shells, and 2,116 sound grenades have also been recovered till date, it said.
The joint force comprises with Bangladesh Armed Forces, police, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party, Coast Gurd and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
Meanwhile, the joint forces started operation on September 4.
