KMP starts campaign to improve law & order situation

KHULNA, Sept 25: Police started campaign and held mass communication at various important places with a view to maintaining the law and order situation in the 

district. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Police (South) Md Moniruzzaman Mithu led the campaign. Additional DC of Police (North) Md Humayun Kabir of KMP, the police officers of the respective police station exchanged greetings and exchanged views with the people of various professions living in the police station area.

During the mass communication, people from all walks of life welcomed the activities of police at Rupsa traffic intersection, Moylapota intersection, Shibbari intersection, Joragate intersection under Khulna Police Station (PS) and Atra-Shiromani-Patherbazar under Khanjahan Ali PS

The police in cooperation with common people declared their determination to make the Khulna city free from extortion, drugs, terrorism, and juvenile gangs and eve-teasing.
 
Earlier, KMP traffic department made drivers and helpers of 210 vehicles aware of traffic laws at Boyra, Shibbari, Rupsa, PTI, Royal and Apil Gate intersections.
