3 women RMG workers killed in Manikganj road accident

Three women garment workers were killed and at least 19 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Manikganj's Shibaloy upazila on Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 6:30 am at Boali area of ​​the upazila. 
The deceased were Sabina Akter, 25, 25, Brithi Akter, 28, Fuli Begum, 30, residents of Samaj Ghar area in​​Shibaloy.

According to police, a bus carrying employees of Taraseema garment factory was going towards Nayadingi in Manikganj from Aricha in the morning. On the way, a truck from the opposite direction collided with the bus in that area. A woman died on the spot and 20 were injured. The injured were taken to local health complex where doctors declared Brithi and Fuli dead.

Barangail Highway outpost in-charge Md Ibrahim said efforts are underway to identify the victims. Legal action is under process in this regard.
