Tourists discouraged from visiting Sajek till Sept 30

The Rangamati district administration has discouraged from traveling to Sajek for three more days till September 30 considering the overall situation in Chattogram hill district.

Earlier, the tourists were discouraged from traveling to Sajek from September 25 to 27.

A notice, signed by Additional District Magistrate Zobaida Akter, issued in this regard said that the administration has extended the travel ban for three more days considering the present situation.

On September 20, four people were killed and at least 72 others injured as violence flared up in Rangamati town and Khagrachhari's Dighinala and Sadar upazilas.
