BNP leader Dulu acquitted in DSA case

Lalmonirhat district BNP president and BNP central organising secretary Asadul Habib Dulu has been acquitted from a case filed under the Digital Security Act (DSA) against him.
 
Rangpur Cyber Tribuna Judge Dr Md Abdul Majeed dismissed the case and acquitted him after Dulu, also a former deputy minister, surrendered to the Tribunal on Sunday and applied for bail through 25 lawyers.
 The defendant's lawyer Advocate Mahafuz Un Nabi Don said that on September 13, 2023, a case was filed against Dulu with Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station under the Digital Security Act, 2018, on charges of carrying out offensive and slanderous propaganda about Bangabandhu on the Facebook.
