Female police member killed in Khulna road accident

A female police constable was killed after being run over by a truck in Khulna's Dumuria on Sunday.

The accident happened at around 8:30 pm on the road in front of Gutudia Union Parishad in Dumuria.
The dead Farzana Yasmin worked at Dumuria Police Station as a constable.
 
Dumuria Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Hai said the police member Farzana and her child were going to Satkhira from Khulna with her brother riding on a motorcycle. On the way, Farzana Yasmin fell on road from the motorcycle in that area. Meanwhile, a truck coming from the opposite direction crushed her. She died on the spot.

The OC further said the truck was seized and the body was sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
