Mercantile Bank holds training on prevention of money laundering

Mercantile Bank Training Institute organized a day long workshop on "Prevention of Money Laundering and Combating Financing against Terrorism" at its premises recently. 

A total number of forty five officials from various branches participated at the workshop, says a press release. 
Mati Ul Hasan, Additional Managing Director and CRO of the bank inaugurated the said workshop. 

In his address Matiul advised participating officers to strictly adhere with the AML and CFT guidelines in all areas of banking operations. Shamim Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and CAMLCO of the bank also gave his welcome address at the inaugural session.
 
The training modules were conducted by faculties of the training institute along with official from AML and CFT division of the bank.  

Javed Tariq, Principal of the training institute moderated the inaugural program and conducted sessions at the training.
