Man crushed under train in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, Sept 30: A man was crushed under a train in Saidpur Upazila of the district on Sunday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Saidpur Railway Police Station AKM Nurul Islam said that the man died on the spot after being hit by a train.

Then local people informed the matter to police in the morning.

Being informed, police recovered the body from the scene.

However, the law enforcers are trying to identify the deceased, the OC added.
