Defeated fascist out to foil consolidation of movement: Salahuddin

BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed said on Monday, "The defeated fascist group is trying to foil consolidation of student-people's movement. I urge people to get united and stand against the conspirators to consolidate the outcome of July-August uprising."   

After paying tributes to BNP founder martyred President Ziaur Rahman at his grave at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar he told reporters, "BNP believes in religious values, and freedom to practice religions. We are striving to build a democratic Bangladesh by eliminating all discriminations by maintaining communal harmony.'

He said that, all Bangladeshis will enjoy their religious freedom.

He said we shall maintain communal harmony. 

He said all the citizens of this country will enjoy equal rights and benefits.

"In the context of the post-revolution we have to take Bangladesh to prosperity together as dreamed by  martyred President Ziaur Rahman," Salahuddin said. 

He said, "The ghosts of fascism are still hatching conspiracy to bring back fascism in the country. From abroad, defeated dictator is trying to destabilise Bangladesh. But the people will foil the conspiracy."
