2 fishermen killed in B'baria lightning strike

Two fishermen were killed by lightning strike in Brahmanbaria sadar upazila on Tuesday.

The accident happened in the morning at Kanchanpur under Machhihata Union.
The victim was Dishu Das, 59, and Rabindra Das, 37, residents of that area.

Machhihata UP Chairman Alaminul Haque Pavel confirmed the matter and said that the two went fishing in the Titas river. It was raining at that time. They died on the spot when lightning struck them on their way home after fishing.
