It is a great honour to welcome you all in this evening as we come together to celebrate the 94th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I would like to extend my High greetings to the Custodian of the Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz AL Saud and to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammad bin Salman. May Allah protect them and to the People of Saudi Arabia on this special occasion.

On this momentum day, we reflect on the remarkable journey Saudi Arabia has undertaken--from its unification under the visionary leadership of King Abdulaziz Al-Saud in 1932 to its emergence as a global leader and symbol of progress. The Kingdom`s transformation from a desert nation to a thriving, modern state is vividly apparent before us. This remarkable evolution stands as a testament to the enduring strength, resilience, and determination of its people, all under the guidance of our wise Saudi leadership.

Saudi Arabia stands at a pivotal moment, where history and the future converge through the visionary Vision 2030, led by HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

This transformative plan aims not only for economic growth but also for significant social and cultural change, fostering sustainable development, innovation, and global leadership.

The results of this vision are already evident: the tourism sector has surged by 73%, unemployment has reached a historic low of 7.6%, and the Kingdom is on track to generate 50% of its power from renewable sources by 2030.

Riyadh now features a world-class metro system, and Saudi Arabia is emerging as a leader in global sports and entertainment, particularly with the upcoming 2034 FIFA World Cup. Major projects like NEOM, The Line, Qiddiya, Green Saudi initiative and Expo 2030 are positioning the Kingdom as a premier global destination. As we achieve the outcomes of Vision 2030, we remain committed to upholding Islamic values and Saudi traditions.

On the global stage, Saudi Arabia continues to be an influential player. As a member of the G20 and with recent invitation to join BRICS and other international organizations, the Kingdom plays a critical role in shaping the global economy and promoting peace and security. As an active member of OPEC and OPEC Plus, Saudi Arabia remains a key player in stabilizing the global energy market.

Since the time of Late King Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia has been a steadfast advocate for the Palestinian cause, leading international efforts to ensure that the Palestinian people achieve their rights, recognizing an independent Palestinian state based on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. Recently, during UN general assembly HHPrince Faisal AL Farhan announced the International Coalition to implement a two-state solution.

Furthermore, Saudi Arabia is recognized as a trusted partner in mediation efforts concerning conflicts such as those in Sudan and between Russia and Ukraine, reflecting our steadfast commitment to global peace and justice.

Saudi Arabia`s humanitarian contributions are significant. Through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, the Kingdom has provided over $7 billion in aid to 102 countries, delivering essential support to communities in Palestine, Yemen, Bangladesh, and other Arab and Muslim nations.

The Kingdom also provides distinguished services to pilgrims and Umrah performers and spends billions of dollars to expand the Two Holy Mosques.

The relationship between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh is characterized by deep brotherhood and mutual respect, rooted in shared religion and cultural values.

Over the decades, this bond has strengthened as both countries collaborate in various fields, including trade, investment, sports, and culture. Saudi Arabia`s multifaceted leadership encompasses in Hajj & Umrah, manpower, and humanitarian aid.

Currently, Saudi Arabia hosts over 3.2 million Bangladeshi migrant workers, making them the largest expatriate community outside Bangladesh. Their contributions have a significant impact on both economies Last year alone, we issued more than 1 million visas, and we continue to welcome more.

I am pleased to announce that this year, we successfully organized Hajj for over 85,000 Bangladeshi pilgrims through the Makkah Route Initiative.

Additionally, this year`s Umrah quota has increased by 37%, and we have made it easier for pilgrims to book through the mobile app Nusuk.

As a brotherly nation, Saudi Arabia has consistently stood by Bangladesh in times of need and will continue to extend its support and collaboration to achieve shared goals, ensuring a bright and prosperous future for both our countries as we work together towards our leadership aspirations.

In conclusion, I want to emphasise my personal dedication on enhancing the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh throughout my tenure, I am optimistic that our partnership will continue to thrive.

Long live the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People`s Republic of Bangladesh.
