2 firearms looted from police stations recovered in Rajshahi

Two firearms looted from different police stations in the metropolis after the fall of the previous government on August 5 was recovered from Lalon Shah Monch area in Rajshahi city early Tuesday.

Mehedi Masud, officer-in-charge of Boalia Police Station, confirmed the matter. 

He said that acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in the area and recovered two shot guns and one rubber bullet.

He confirmed it that the recovered arms are looted arms from police stations. 

Legal procedures are under process in this regard, the OC added.
