Two looted firearms recovered in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Oct 3: Two firearms looted from different police stations (PSs) in the metropolis after the fall of the previous government on August 5 was recovered from Lalon Shah Mancha area in the city early Tuesday.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Boalia PS Mehedi Masud confirmed the matter. 
He said that acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and recovered two shot guns and one rubber bullet.

However, legal procedures are under process in this regard, the OC added.
