Stock markets experience significant declines

On Wednesday, the DSEX index fell by 132.29 points, primarily driven by a drop in large-cap securities. The DSE 30 Index and the DSE Shariah Index also reported notable losses. Despite an increase in turnover to Taka 4,408.31 million, it is concerning that 347 out of 398 traded issues experienced declines. The CSE mirrored this downward trend, with its indices also closing lower. These fluctuations underscore the importance of cautious investment strategies in the current economic climate.
