Four killed, 8 hurt in bus-truck collision in Tangail

Four people were killed and eight others were injured after a bus and a truck collided head-on in Kalihati, Tangail early Friday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately .

Nannu Khan, in-charge of Elenga highway police outpost, said the collision took place at around 12:30AM, leaving four passengers of the bus dead on the spot.

The injured were taken to Tangail District Hospital and among them three reported to be in critical condition.

He said police seized the both vehicles and recovered the bodies of the deceased which had been kept at the police outpost.
