O the Heroes of 2024! Thou art saviour
Of Bangladesh from the clutches of Vultures,
From the misanthropists who disdain humanity,
From the grasps of Scavengers who strangled
The best among the creatures; created by the One
Who created Adam, Eve, Krishna, Hamlet and Gautama.
O the Heroes of July-August 2024!Thou rescued
Thy parents, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters
Who got drowned in the sea of indescribable hardships,
Pangs, pains, plights, predicaments; at the cost
Of thy lives, what everyone hardly accords to levy.
We now breathe the way we like merely because
Thou chase away the predators from this emerald land;
We owe you much as thou art capable of doing
What thousands could not for one and half decades.
Millions of eulogies not enough to pay for
What you've accomplished to salvage the sons
Of the soil from the grabs of the heinous marauders.
O the Heroes of 2024! We implore to God
Who has chosen the best flowers from the garden
To pluck, to grant the highest place of paradise
For you; thou art immortal, as death cannot defeat you,
As stated it by Him Who also provides you with food,
As revealed in the Holy Book. 'Tis death is dead, not you,
Thou art beaconing thy fellows to take needed steps
To make this Triangle Island as you dreamt. We take
Oaths, we promise, if need be, we will breathe our last
To make this land where all feel hilarious and elative.
