Journalist injured in attack by miscreants in city

A journalist was attacked by miscreants as he thwarted their bid to snatch a motorcycle in Kuril Bishwa Road area of Dhaka on Friday night.

The victim, Gazi Sadeque, a sub-editor of the daily Jugantor, filed a complaint with Bhatara Police Station early Saturday.
According to the complaint, Sadeque was returning home from his office around 9 pm on Friday when he noticed a group of miscreants trying to snatch a motorcycle in front of Pragati Filling Station on Kuril Bishwa Road.

He, along with some pedestrians, rushed to the scene and managed to foil the criminals’ attempt.

However, after their failure, the attackers run into on Sadeque and assaulted him. He was later taken to a hospital for treatment.
