The time-table of next general election will be determined on the basis of the reports of six reform commissions, Chief Adviser's special assistant Mahfuz Alam has said.
Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus held dialogues with the leaders of different political parties as part of the state reforms on Saturday. Following the dialogue, a press conference was held.
Addressing the press conference, Mahfuz Alam said the time-table of next general election would be decided on the basis of the reports of six reform commissions after the next three months.
He said the government is determined to punish those who were the collaborators of the ousted fascist regime of Sheikh Hasina.
Mahfuz Alam also said the state would be reformed giving priorities to the hopes and aspirations of people.
Shafiqul Alam, press secretary of the chief adviser of the interim government, said, the chief of the interim government will again with sit across the table of discussion with the political parties to fix a roadmap for the next general election, he said.
Besides, the preparatory works ahead of the next general election will be continued spontaneously, he added.
