Agri Adviser visits BARI in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, Oct 8: Agriculture Adviser Lt Gen Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Rtd) visited Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) in the district on Tuesday. 

He held a view-exchange meeting at Kazi Badruddoza Auditorium of the BARI. 

BARI's Director General Dr Md Abdullah Yousuf Akhond highlighted the current activities and future plans of the institute through a PowerPoint presentation. 

Later on, scientists, officers and workers of the institute presented their related issues to the advisor. 

The advisor listened to everyone's speech with great interest. He acknowledged the outstanding contribution of scientists to the agriculture and assured further possible collaboration in future. 

Agriculture Secretary Dr Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian was present at the meeting.
