Tarique greets Hindu community celebrating Durga Puja

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman said on Saturda, "All citizens of Bangladesh must enjoy equal rights, freedom and protection without any distinction irrespective of Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, or Christians." 

In a post on his verified Facebook page he extended greetings to the Hindu community on the occasion of their biggest festival  Durga Puja and said, "BNP will create collective community shield to ensure the safety and security of all the citizens  regardless of their identity or background."
Tarique Rahman said, "I believe every Bangladeshi citizen must enjoy equal rights, freedom, and protection without any discrimination."

"Our country belongs to all Bangladeshis, and as a united nation, we will form a collective community shield, setting an example by ensuring safety of everyone, regardless of their identity or background," said Tarique.  

He extended warm greetings to all  celebrating Durga Puja across the country.

Tarique Rahman said, "May this festival bring peace, harmony and prosperity to every household and foster cohesion and togetherness among all communities."
