bKash, BSK expand book reading programme at Kaptai

Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, in association with bKash, has expanded its book-reading programme by distributing books to the students of three schools in Kaptai, Rangamati.

The schools are Boroichori Karnaphuli Nurul Huda Kaderi High School, Kaptai Al-amin Nuria Dakhil Madrasah and Karnaphuli Paper Mills High School. 
As part of the nationwide book reading initiative, over 300,000 books have been distributed to various educational institutions, benefiting over 3 million readers. This year, approximately 40,000 additional books have been added to this programme.

The book distribution event at the Kaptai Upazila Parishad auditorium, graced by the chief guest Md, significantly expanded the book reading programme. Mohi Uddin, Upazila Executive Officer, Kaptai, Rangamati. 

Upazila Executive Officer, Kaptai, Rangamati, Mohi Uddin, handed over books to the students, marking a milestone in this initiative. 

Special guests Humayun Kabir, EVP and Head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs of bKash, and Syed Mahmud Hasan, Upazila Secondary Education Officer, further enriched the event. Shamim Al Mamun, Director of Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, presided over the programme.

Bishwo Shahitto Kendro has been conducting this nationwide enrichment programme to teach book reading habits among the students. 

This initiative will help the students shape their minds as enlightened human beings. For the past decade, the country's largest MFS provider, bKash, has been associated with this programme to expand further and implement this objective.
