Ex-Shibir leader dies being hit by bus in Sirajganj

A former Chhatra Shibir leader was killed after being run over by a bus in Sirajganj's Ullapara on Thursday. 

The accident happened around 9:30 am at Balshabari Bazar in the upazila.

The dead Nazrul Islam, 35, was the former secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir's Shahjadpur upazila unit.
Ullapara Fire Service Team Leader Asaduzzaman confirmed it.

He said a bus belonging to 'Shyamoli Paribahan' was going to Dhaka from Pabna. When the bus reached Balshabari Bazar, it ran over a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. The Shibir leader who was riding the motorcycle died on the spot.

Ullapara Model Police Station Duty Officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Faruk Hossain said police were sent to the spot.
