Travel ban imposed on ex-MPs Mirza Azam, Nixon, Wadud

Former lawmakers Mirza Azam, Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury (Nixon) and his wife Tarin Hossain and Md Abdul Wadud and his wife Marjina Wadud have been barred from traveling abroad. 
 
Acting judge of the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court Ibrahim Miah passed the orders on Wednesday after accepting two separate pleas from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
 ACC deputy director Md Salauddin filed a plea for imposing a travel ban on Mirza Azam, Nixon Chowdhury and his wife Tarin Hossain, while deputy director Rezaul Karim filed another petition to slap a travel ban on Abdul Wadud and his wife Marjina Wadud.
 
ACC public prosecutors Mir Ahmed Ali Salam and Mahmud Hossain Jahangir moved the two pleas respectively before the court.
