MetLife Bangladesh has recently signed a partnership agreement with City Bank PLC., one of the leading private commercial banks in the country, under which MetLife policyholders will be able to conveniently pay their premiums at the City Bank's 495 nationwide agent banking points.
This new initiative strengthens MetLife's existing premium payment channels, which already include online payments, bank counters, mobile financial services, and MetLife customer service centers. With this partnership, MetLife aims to make premium payments easier and more accessible for its growing customer base, particularly those in rural and remote areas, says a press release.
The agreement was signed by Ala Uddin, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer, MetLife Bangladesh, and Nurullah Chaudhury, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Corporate Banking of City Bank.
Also present in the ceremony were, from MetLife Bangladesh, Kamrul Anam, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Operations Officer; Sharif Mehedi Hassan, Director; Nahid Mousumi, Assistant Director; and from City Bank, Tahsin Haq, Head of Corporate and Institutional Liability; Mohibur Rahman, Head of Agent Banking Division, and other senior officials.
