BGB seizes smuggled goods worth Tk 2.61cr in B’baria

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a raid seized smuggled Indian goods worth over Tk 2.61 crore from Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, members of 25 BGB's Sarail Battalion, conducted a special operation at Chandura Bypass of Bijoynagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria district about 1 am, Sarail Battalion Commander Lt. Col Farah Mohammad Imtiaz said.—BSS
