Eye treatment of Mithu uncertain for lack of money!

BAGATIPARA, NATORE, Nov 1: Eye treatment of Abdullah AL Baki Mithu in Bagatipara Upazila has been uncertain due to lack of money.

He was bullet-hit in different parts of his body including left eye. The eye has lost sighting as its billet was not removed.  Still there are eight bullets in his body.

Mithu is the son of farmer Abdul Khaleq and Julekha Khatun of Hatgobindapur area in the upazila. 

He said, he was bullet-hit in Kegir crossing area in Belkuchi Police Station in Sirajganj on August 4. He was kept with other dead bodies. Later on, he regained sense and treated by physicians.

His eye was operated for two times in National Eye Hospital. But it was not cured.   
 
In 2015, he passed Medical Radiology from Barishal Institute of Health Technology.  He has been running a job of CT scan at Daffodil Specialist Hospital at Bus Stand area in the district. He has lost his job. 

His family has been directionless in running their family and managing treatment of their son. His parents have been sick.  He is only brother of three sisters. They are married.

His father said, he is a heart-patient; it has been difficult to run the family due to income  suspension for the last two months. 

Bagatipara Coordinator Munaim Islam Rumi said, his all information have been sent to the committee of the  Health Department four weeks back.
