Youth burnt to death with motorcycle in Chuadanga

A young man was allegedly burnt to death with a motorcycle at Alamdanga upazila in Chuadanga on Tuesday.

The incident took place at night in a garden at Faridpur village under Belgachhi union of the upazila.
The deceased Sabuj, 23, son of cattle trader Zainal, was a resident of Bademaju village under Dawki union of Alamdanga upazila. It was said that Sabuj was an old motorcycle dealer.

Belgachhi Union Parishad (UP) member Shamim Reza said, 'Local people saw the body in the morning and informed police and me. I went to the spot and saw that Sabuj was burnt to death along with the motorcycle.'

Alamdanga Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Masudur Rahman said farmers of that village saw the body of Sabuj lying in the garden. On information, police recovered the burnt body and the motorcycle from the spot and sent it to morgue.

Legal action is under process in this regard, the OC added.
