Public Administration Department Student Union of Jahangirnagar University on Thursday elected a new committee.
The election was held at the classrooms of the department at 10:00am and continued till 2:00pm without break and 247 out of 282 students voted to elect the new committee.
Ashfaque Uz Zaman Siam of 48th batch, Abubockor Sojol of 49th batch Vice President and Mah Alam of 50th Batch have been elected as the Vice President (VP), General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary respectively.
The others elected are - Parvez Hossain as Treasurer, Ifaz Uddin Ahmed Zim as Sports Secretary, Nagib Mahfuz Kabbo as the Health and Social Welfare Secretary, Sojibur Rahman Sojib as Library Secretary, Sumaiya Akter Sinthi as Female Student Welfare Secretary, Shrabani Rani Das as Literary and Cultural Secretary, Dewan Rumaiya Afrin as Career Development Secretary, Abdul Bari as Office Secretary, Amir Abdullah Tahmid Ohi as Publicity and Publication Secretary.
Nazmul Haque Anib was elected Assistant Sports Secretary, Ridhwan Ahmed Rabbi as assistant Literary and Cultural Secretary, Assistant Career Development Secretary Rajinur Islam Pial, Shariful Islam as Assistant Office Secretary, Milon Haque as Assistant Publicity Secretary and Abdullah Ar Rafi, Hami Hasnain Hasan, and Salman Najafi as Executive Members.
