Farmer dies from electrocution in Sirajganj

A farmer died from electrocution in Sirajganj's Kamarkhanda upazila on Tuesday.

The dead Mofizul Islam, 55, Barakandi Banshtala Bazar under Barakandi union.

According to locals, Mofizul was threshing paddy with an electric machine in the courtyard of his house. At that time, he came in contact with an electric wire. He died on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kamarkhanda Police Station Mokhlesur Rahman said confirmed it.
