Govt permits import of 18.80cr eggs

The government has given permission to import of 18.80 crore eggs through 42 designated firms for stabilising the egg market.

The Ministry of Commerce gave the permission on Tuesday to stabilise prices and ensure the availability of this essential commodity.

This import permission will expire on January 31, 2025, according to the ministry's statement.
