BAFWWA distributes blankets among poor, cold-stricken people

Bangladesh Air Force Women's Welfare Association (BAFWWA)  on Wednesday distributed winter clothes (blankets) among the poor and cold-stricken people.

President of BAFWWA and Others Women and Children Club (OWCC) Saleha Khan launched the winter clothes (blanket) distribution programme, said a press release of Inter-Serviced of Public Relations (ISPR). 

As part of its service activities, BAFWWA used to distribute winter clothes (blankets) every year among the poor and cold-stricken people of various Air Force bases and adjacent areas as humanitarian assistance. 

All members of the Central BAFWWA, including the Vice-Presidents of the Central Council, were present at the event. 

As part of this programme, the winter clothes (blankets) sent by the BAFWA Central Council will be distributed to the cold-stricken people in phases through various regional and sub-regional branches of BAFWA in Kurmitola and Tejgaon areas of Dhaka, as well as Chattogram, Jashore, Tangail, Bogura, Lalmonirhat, Moulvibazar, Shamshernagar, Barisal and Cox's Bazar.
