One lakh Yaba pills seized in Cox's Bazar

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized one lakh Yaba pills from Palongkhali border in Ukhiya upazila of Cox's Bazar district early Wednesday.

Tipped off, a team of BGB-34 conducted a drive in Farir Beel area around 1:30 am and seized the Yaba pills in an abandoned condition, said commanding officer of BGB-34, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al Mashruki.

However, none was arrested in this connection. —UNB
