Director of the Department of Agricultural Marketing, Omor Md. Imrul Mohsin, who is also an additional secretary in the administration, has been appointed as the new Inspector General of the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE).
He will replace Fahmida Akhter, who has been serving as the Inspector General of DIFE on an additional charge.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard.
Additionally, Yasmin Parveen, an Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Food, has been appointed as SDS (Civil Service) at the Ministry of Defence.
Dr. A.K.M. Oli Ullah, Additional Secretary of the Internal Resources Division, has been made the new Director General of the Rural Development Academy (RDA) in Bogura, while Md. Imam Uddin Kabir, an officer on special duty (OSD) and Additional Secretary, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the National Disability Development Foundation.
Furthermore, Md. Khalilur Rahman, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, has been made a member of the Rural Electrification Board.
