Smart Technologies brings Google TV to the BD Market

Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd (Sony-Smart), the official distributor of Sony in Bangladesh, unveiled its new range of Google TVs on the occasion of World Television Day. 

The launch event took place at the Sony-Smart showroom in Shyamoli, Dhaka recently, says a press release.  

To mark the occasion, the company celebrated by cutting a saffron cake, coinciding with the globally recognized Television Day on 21st November. 

Md. Tanvir Hossain, Director of Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, officially launched the new Google TV. The event was graced by the presence of Nurul Ain Omar, Head of Overseas Business at Smart Technologies (BD) Limited; Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, General Manager and Head of Sales of Sony-Smart; and Azad Rahman, Deputy General Manager and Head of Marketing.

At the event, the company announced exciting offers and attractive prices to mark the launch of the new Smart-Google TVs.
  
Under the new offer, the 43-inch Google-Smart TV, originally priced at BDT 56,900, is now available for BDT 39,900. Similarly, the 50-inch model, priced at BDT 68,900, is now BDT 49,900; the 55-inch model, priced at BDT 81,900, is now BDT 59,900; and the 65-inch model, priced at BDT 106,900, is now BDT 79,900. 

The 75-inch model, previously BDT 175,900, is now offered at BDT 129,900; the 85-inch model, priced at BDT 251,900, is now BDT 159,900; and the premium 100-inch model, originally priced at BDT 629,900, is now available for BDT 449,900. He also noted that these prices are valid only during the promotional period.

The launch event of the new Smart-Google TV was attended by top executives of Sony-Smart, branch managers, team members, and distinguished journalists from diverse media houses, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.
