2 missing boys found dead in Cox's Bazar beach

The bodies of two madrasa students who went missing while bathing in the sea at Teknaf in Cox's Bazar have been recovered. 

Locals spotted two bodies floating at Sabrang Lambari Beach Point in Teknaf on Monday morning. 
Later, police were informed and the bodies of the two were recovered from the scene. 

The dead were identified as Imran Hossain, 12, son of Korban Ali, and Nazrul Haque, 12, son of Nazir, residents of Konkar Para village under Teknaf Sadar Union.

Earlier, the body of a student named Nur Kamal was recovered on Sunday in the incident.

The three boys were swept away by the current when they went to bathe in the sea on Sunday morning. Later, members of the fire brigade and the Coast Guard launched a rescue operation to rescue them.

Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sheikh Ehesan Uddin said 10-15 students of the Hefz department of Maulvi Elias Madrasa in Khunkarpara went to play football on the seashore on Sunday. After the game, the three boys went to bathe in the sea water. All three drowned in the water due to the strong current. Nur Kalam was rescued on Sunday with the help of locals and taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. The bodies of two more students were recovered on Monday morning.
