Two additional secretary level officers were on Monday made officers on special duty (OSD) after promotion for preparation of their post retirement leave (PRL), the Public Administration Ministry issued separate notifications in this regards.
They are- Member of Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA) Mohammad Faruk Alam and Food Ministry's Additional Secretary Md Habibur Rahman Hossaini.
Of them, Faruk Alam was made secretary and Habibur Rahman was given grade-1 Secretary rank.
They will go on post retirement leave soon after completing their service age of 59 years.
Besides, Public Administration Ministry's Deputy Secretary Dipankar Roy has been transferred to Panchagarh district as deputy director of Local Government while National Academy for Primary Education (NAPE) Director Zia Ahmed Sumon has been sent on deputation to the Local Government Division (LGD) for posting him as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zilla Parishad.
Four deputy secretary and senior assistant secretary level officers were sent on deputation to the Land Ministry for posting them as zonal settlement officers in charge of different districts.
Of them, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Narail Zilla Parishad Kazi Mahbub Ur Rahman, also a deputy secretary, has been posted as zonal settlement officer of Sylhet.
Among the senior assistant secretaries, Cantonment Executive Officer of Bogura SM Zakir Hossain was made officer in charge of Dinajpur Zonal Settlement Office, Executive Officer of Sirajganj Zilla Parishad Anisur Rahman has been made officer in charge of Bogura Zonal Settlement Office and Feni's Daganbhuiyan Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nibedita Chakma has been made officer in charge of Chattogram Zonal Settlement Office.
