Two motorcyclists were killed after a truck hit their motorcycle at Baniachong upazila in H
abiganj district on Tuesday evening.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Kader, 24, son of Mujibur Rahman, and Kawsar Miah, 22, son of Abdul Mazid, residents of Kaliarbhanga village under Nabiganj upazila in the district.
Locals said that a truck, coming from the opposite direction, his their motorcycle while Abdul Kader and Kawsar Miah were heading to Habiganj city on the motorcycle, leaving Abdul Kader dead on the spot and Kawsar Miah critically injured.
Kawsar was later rescued and taken to the district hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
Kabir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Baniachong Police Station, confirmed the matter.
