BNP delegation holds meeting with Dr Yunus

In the wake of some untoward incidents over the past few days, a five-member BNP delegation, led by the party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, is holding a meeting with Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday evening.

The meeting began around 6:00pm at the state guest house Jamuna, said BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
The other BNP delegation members are party standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.

Party sources said the BNP leaders will discuss the country's latest political situation, the party's position on reforms, and the next election.
