United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB), under the agricultural support scheme 'Bhoroshar Notun Janala', organized a comprehensive skill development training program for agri-entrepreneurs, at Hotel Shahid Palace, Shahid Abul Kashem Sarak, Sadar, Chuadanga, participated by 150 agricultural entrepreneurs from four upazilas of the district on Tuesday.
In accordance with the directives of the Bangladesh Bank, UCB has been organizing such training in different districts of the country for promising agricultural entrepreneurs as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. This is the 55th district that UCB is conducting this training program under this project, says a press release.
Syed Faridul Islam, Additional Managing Director, UCB attended the training session as event chair. ; Rezaul Karim Siddique, Presenter of BTV's agriculture-based show 'Mati O Manush' and an agricultural analyst; Debasish Kumar Das, Additional Deputy Director, Directorate of Agriculture Extension, Chuadanga; Dr. Md.
