The deputy commissioners (DCs) of two districts were transferred on Wednesday. The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regards.
Of them, Thakurgaon DC Ms. Ishrat Farzana has been transferred to the Rangamati while Finance Division Deputy Secretary Mohammad Habib Ullah has been made new DC in Thakurgaon.
However, decision about Rangamati DC Mosharraf Hossain Khan, also a deputy secretary of the government, has not yet been given.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Public Administration Ministry assigned four new divisional commissioners issuing separate notifications.
According to the circular signed by Deputy Secretary Aminul Islam, Md Firoz Sarker, additional secretary at the Security Services Division of the Home Ministry, has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of Khulna while Khondkar Azim Ahmed, additional secretary at the Information and Communication Technology Division, was made Divisional Commissioner of Rajshahi.
Khan Md Reza-un-Nabi, officer on special duty (OSD) Additional Secretary, has been assigned to Sylhet and Dr Md Ziauddin, additional secretary to the Health Services Division, has been designated as the Divisional Commissioner of Chattogram.
